WorkTogo
A services platform in Togo: find a verified provider nearby, and pay safely with Mobile Money.
My role
Web and mobile UX/UI design, in collaboration with W3Frame (development)
Context
WorkTogo — “Alo Dowoto” in Ewe — connects individuals and businesses with providers from every trade: crafts and construction, cleaning, beauty, IT, events, transport… The client describes their need, the platform suggests the best-suited profiles nearby, and the job is secured by an escrow payment. The product lives on three surfaces sharing the same server: the website, the mobile app and an admin desktop app.
Problem
In Togo, you find a plumber or a seamstress by word of mouth, without knowing who you are dealing with or what a fair price is. The design had to reassure both sides: the client, about the provider's reliability and where their money goes; the provider, about why to sign up and take a subscription. With one hard constraint: journeys that work on a phone, with a phone number rather than an email address.
Users
Client
Quickly find a reliable professional nearby, compare profiles and rates, and only pay once the job is done.
Provider
Create a profile in minutes, receive client requests in their trade and get paid without risk.
Process
- 01
Two entry points
From the home page: search for a service, no account needed, or become a provider. After a search, a modal asks for your role at the right moment.
- 02
Sign-up
With a phone number and a 6-digit code, in visible steps: contact, verification, trade, subscription, payment.
- 03
Subscription
Three plans compared line by line, the most chosen one highlighted, then Flooz or T-Money payment with clear states: entry, processing, confirmed.
- 04
Web and mobile
One design for desktop and phone: grids that fold to two columns, full-width buttons, sub-categories in a bottom drawer.
Design screens
Web

Home
Free search or browse by trade: ten trades, each with its sub-categories.

Choosing a role
After a search, the visitor says whether they are looking for a service or offering one.

Provider plans
Three plans compared, the most popular highlighted, the free trial stated in the title.

Results
Filters by sub-category, city, rating and price; verified profiles carry a badge.
Mobile

Home
Search at the top of the screen, trades on two columns.

Sub-categories
A drawer slides up from the bottom to narrow down the need.

Client or provider
Two cards, two promises: free sign-up on one side, a 14-day trial on the other.

Verification code
Six boxes for the code received by SMS, the sign-up steps at the top.

Plans
Plans stack up; the most popular one stays easy to spot.

Mobile Money payment
Flooz or T-Money, +228 prefix already in place, amount repeated on the button.
Where the project stands
The design covers the full journey, from search to the provider dashboard. Development is moving forward with W3Frame: the website, the mobile app and the admin app share the same server, so what happens on one shows up on the others.
